About The Doctor 

 Dr. William Prentiss was born and raised in Danvers, where he and his wife, who is a local teacher, are currently raising their family. William attended the local Danvers High School, and later went to college in Worcester, Massachusetts. He continued his education and attended an optometry school in Boston. After graduating, William opened his own practice, and has since helped people throughout the area. Dr. William Prentiss specializes in both contact lenses and pediatric vision services. He also has a special interest in ocular disease treatment and is certified in both diagnostic and therapeutic practice in Massachusetts.

  • I read a review about Dr. Prentiss. I don't agree at all! Dr. Prentiss is a great optometrist! My husband and I have been going to him for over 14 years. We lived in the area and both have difficult eye issues. We found him. Now we live in Billerica. Getting to Dr. P. isn't easy however neither of us have any plans to go elsewhere. He care about every single patient he has. He'll take as much time as is needed with patiences. He's not only a great optometrist he love to have fun. Going to him is a highlight my husband and I look forward to. I know why the other reviewer thought he was rude and such. The reason is because not only will he spend as much time as needed with patiences. He also tends to run the office alone. He's great!
